The Surrey Downs Community Club has been serving residents of Surrey Downs since 1962 as a non-profit community club whose members have the right to govern and control all of its activities through an annually elected board.
As outlined in the By-Laws (full copy available here), SDCC will “seek to promote all issues of concern to the community and to preserve its residential character. The organization shall be a mechanism to inform and obtain opinion from the members on issues affecting the community and take appropriate actions”.
For 2022-2023 the Board of Directors (all volunteers) are:
- President: Christie Hammond
- Executive Vice President: Steve Hall
- Secretary: Jessi Alva
- Treasurer: Beth Muller
with Vice Presidents (5): Mike Burke, Ann Guilford, Regina Hanlon, Greg McLawsen and Rich Strophy.
