Bellevue City is enforcing Ordinance 6233 after a recent ruling that a whole house short-term rental on VRBO, AirBnB and similar counts as a Rooming House, which is prohibited in Single Family zones. Bellevue City has worked on over a hundred cases in the last 18 months. Continue reading →
The City of Bellevue will be undertaking a land survey of the Surrey Downs Park over the next several weeks. This work is in advance of the park redevelopment which is currently planned for the second half of 2018. The redevelopment is part of the 2008 Parks & Natural Areas Levy approved by Bellevue voters.

The Surrey Downs Park Committee and many other neighborhood residents were involved in the development of the Preferred Park Master Plan which was unanimously endorsed by the Bellevue Parks Board and subsequently approved by the Bellevue City Council at its April 28, 2014 meeting.
