Helicopter lands at 11:20 am! Yes! Chief Irvine got the helicopter!!!!
The Newcastle Police and King County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a police day at Lake Boren Park on Saturday, June 23, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Events will include police demonstrations, K-9, Marine and SWAT units, Search & Rescue, AFIS, Motorcycle Unit and more – the helicopter!
Please see attached flyer. The kids will surely enjoy learning how to track and investigate!
This event is in remembrance and in honor of King County Sheriff Officer and Newcastle Deputy Richard Herzog who was killed in the line of duty on June 22, 2002, on Coal Creek Parkway.
